I’m not going to bore you with legalese, but I do want to lay out a few important rules and principles.

1. Copyright

Unless specified otherwise, all content on this site is owned by me.

You are not allowed to copy content and definitely not allowed to sell it or make any commercial use of it. You need my express consent for such a thing, so please always ask first. Non-profit use will most likely be permitted.

You are allowed to quote small portions of content from this site, provided you provide a link or URL to the site and specify the source (the name of the site).

2. The comments

By posting comments on this site you agree to the following.

I appreciate the effort that people put in the comments they leave on this site. They are important, and often provide much needed clarification over the content of the posts.

I reserve the right to use the comments how I see fit, while attempting to notify their authors, provided they left their email and/or website. I also reserve the right to copy and quote them within this site, as well as to modify and delete them at will.

3. Your privacy

Regarding your privacy: I respect it and I hate spam, with which I have to deal myself daily. Your email addresses will never be sold or given to anybody. They are not published on the site, and are only available to me personally.

The server hosting this website collects some information automatically about you, the visitor, but only information available naturally, such as your IP address or the name of your browser. There are also various visitor tracking services I may use. This information is used solely for compiling anonymous mass statistics, for traffic and referral analysis.

The website also sets certain cookies in your browser, should you choose to accept them. Beside the cookie used in case you create an account on this site, there are various cookies which hold your personal preferences, such as the state of the sidebar.
