# Romania says yes to OOXML once again

On March 26, Dan Matei, the president of CT210, the Technical Comittee within ASRO in charge of OOXML, made public the results of Romania's decision regarding the adoption of OOXML as an ISO standard: 15 votes for it, 6 votes against and 5 abstentions. Read on for the dirty details.

Completely out of the blue, the USA Department of Justice demanded hefty chunks of search logs from several big search engines. The request is not connected to any ongoing criminal investigation. Allegedly, they need it to substantiate a would-be anti-pornography law.

The newspaper "Cotidianul" tracked down the identity of a regular visitor and eventually caused him to be fired because they suspected he was a member of a secret agency. (He was, although that's beside the point.)
