32 European sex, the way God meant it

A Dutch Full Gospel Church was seconds too late to bid on sex.eu, the most sought after domain name using the European Union’s own top level domain.

The Church declared it wanted the domain in order to set up a website which would promote sex “the way God intended” for it.

The .eu TLD was finally cleared for registration on December 7th this year, after more than five years of struggles.

Owners of trademarks valid in the European Union were allowed to grab an .eu domain early, during the so called “sunrise period”, which will last for two months, after which the TLD will be open for everybody else.
